As a respected leader with a clear, insightful direction, Jim has achieved noteworthy results throughout his career. During his tenure with the U.S. Air Force, Jim was honored with several military awards to include two Commendation Medals, three Achievement Medals, and one Meritorious Service medal. Jim is also the recipient of the U.S. Air Force Service Medal for his faithful leadership and service during the Persian Gulf War.

Jim is a compassionate and inspirational mentor who believes that high achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation. His most recent accomplishments include leading an Atlanta-based IT consulting company as CEO, achieving double-digit growth for an Orlando, Florida healthcare company, and successfully designing an IT integration strategy for a 260 location healthcare company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia as part of a billion-dollar acquisition.

His earlier accomplishments include a corporate restructuring of the Exstream Software technology platforms which contributed to client confidence by offering consistent innovation of document management products and services. During their 8-year expansion period, Exstream’s corporate footprint grew exponentially worldwide. Jim’s efforts not only increased annual high growth percentages but added a level of profitability that prompted an immense capital injection from a major outside investor. The injection ultimately contributed to the sale of Exstream Software to the largest technology company in the world, Hewlett-Packard.

As an entrepreneur, Jim has exhibited a keen ability to lead and expand technology and business-focused organizations. His style of management is complemented by his robust competitive spirit and keen business acumen. Mr. Jarrells’ strengths include strategic vision coupled with tactical planning and team leadership.

As a man of faith, Jim’s personal credo reflects his approach to his work and his personal life: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13.

An alumnus of Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky, Jim holds a degree in Business with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems. He is a lifelong learner who continually stays connected with current industry trends through various network affiliations, training, seminars, and self-study. Jim is proud to be a group member record holder for the Guinness Book of World Records and holds a U.S. Patent for a cloud-based, radiology utility application, called GenesisVault.
