Chat Highlights

  1. Can you give our listeners a high-level overview of your career in leadership and how it led you to where you’re at today as the CTO of fusus?
  2. Given your military training in intelligence, you’ve developed a certain skillset around being about to identify people’s weaknesses, which can also be viewed as “areas of opportunity” in the business world. How has this translated into your leadership over technology teams and your direct reports in general?
  3. Why is the undiscovered or uninvestigated life the worst possible state to be in and what are some habits that leaders can form to ensure they personally succumb to this and that they guide their team members away from falling into this trap as well?
  4. Why is it dangerous to lead and manage your team on Key Performance Metrics (KPI’s) alone? What’s an example of a time where you’ve learned its risks?
  5. Public safety has been an increasing concern in today’s society and ensuring that facts are obtained through the use of video surveillance in policing. How has fusus been taking a more proactive approach and emphasizing officer, citizen, and community safety?
