Nathan Stuck is the CEO and Founder of Profitable Purpose Consulting and the Chair Of B Local Georgia (aka "Mr. B Corp Georgia").

With a firm belief that business can be a force for good, Nathan brings a passion for helping good companies become great. He’s been working with firms pursuing B Corp certification since 2016, using the B Impact Assessment to align purpose with profit.

In addition to his experience working at a B Corp, Nathan teaches an MBA level B Corp class at UGA, founded and chairs B Local Georgia, serves as a committee chair for B Academics and was awarded the 2020 Community Builder Award by B Lab.

Bernie Burgener is the executive director of the Greenhouse Accelerator, where he helps to create sustainable local jobs by advising and financially supporting startup entrepreneurs with cleantech companies. Bernie grew up in Switzerland and then early in his career helped fund and grow businesses in various countries and industries in South America in a financial as well as a consulting function, working for a private investment company out of Lima, Peru. He then worked in various positions for a couple of decades with a global water treatment company out of Atlanta, eventually leading its international business development.

Nathan Stuck sits down with Bernie to hear how he pivoted into a career more focused on sustainability, what makes him optimistic about the future of capitalism, and how we can have the ability to thrive while doing good.
